    The chain saw is intended for cutting timber. Do not use the chain saw for any purpose that is not intended. For example: do not use chain saw for cutting build- ing materials in metal, plastic, masonry or non-wood.     Expected use WARNING The use of the chain saw, battery pack or battery charger outside the intended and reasonably predictable limits of use described in this manual can cause dangerous situations and material damage. Any use not expressly provided for in this manual is strictly prohibited in order to avoid damaging the chain saw and causing danger.

    WARNING Use appropriate clothing when using the chain saw Improper clothing can be entangled in branches, affecting the work of the chain saw. Do not wear loose and/or fluttering clothes or accessories. a) Keep clothes, gloves and hair away from all moving parts. Loose clothing, accessories or long hair can get into moving parts.

    L.3 Inspection of the oil pumping system a) Start the chain saw and check if there are traces of oil on the ground below b) If there are no traces of oil top up the oil tank. If you see no traces of oil with the full tank, contact the service center.

    O.3 Warning for cutting from top to bottom and bottom to top When the guide plate is used for cutting from top to bottom, the direction of rotation of the chainsaw is opposite to that of the operator. When the guide plate is used for a cut from bottom to top, the thrust direction of the chain saw is towards the operator.

    If the chain saw, guide plate, chain, battery pack and battery charger are not cleaned properly, the parts involved do not work as they should and serious injuries may occur. Clean the chain saw, guide plate, chain, battery pack and charger according to the manual. a) Turn off the chain saw and remove the battery b) Clean the body of the chain saw with a damp cloth.

    Storage WARNING Store batteries at least 1.5mt. from enhanced heat sources WARNING Batteries must be stored with care. Store batteries with a residual charge of no less than 20% of the total. If unused for long periods, the battery must be recharged periodically (at least every 4 months) to preserve its functionality.

    Warranty The warranty covers 12 months from the date of purchase and covers mechanical parts including batteries, battery charger, engine and transmission mechanism. The buyer must keep a copy of the sales document (tax receipt or invoice); a copy of the sales document must be delivered to the authorized dealer or repairer together with the machine to be repaired.
