PREPARATION FOR WORK 1. Open the batteries cover. 2. Install the batteries according to the instruc- tions on the case. 3. Close the batteries cover. OPERATING PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES BATTERIES INDICATION Low batteries BODY TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT 1. To measure body temperature, switch on the device by pressing the button once. - Page 10 Put the thermometer to the center of the forehead, maintaining a distance of 3–4 cm between the sensor and the skin. 3–4 cm 3. Press the START button, 2 blue tracking lights will appear. The tracking lights will help to position the thermometer in relation to the forehead correctly.

Then press and hold the START button for 5 sec- onds. The thermometer will enter the measurement units setting mode. Press the START button to select the desired measurement mode °C or °F. Wait for 5 seconds after selecting the desired mode. The thermometer will save the parameters and turn off automatically. -
