EN Instructions for use and care of aluminum pots and
pans (for ZG-ACS02 and ZG-ACS 03 models)
Congratulations on having chosen this Stackable Series Die
Cast Non-stick Cookware. The cookware range comes in 3 soft
pastel shades and in another 3 vivid colors, carefully picked to
match the modem kitchen aesthetic and the unique handle
design enables you to stack them with ease. The pot range
includes 3 different sizes casserole, 3 different sizes glass lids
and one universal suction knob. The pan range includes Wok
Pan, Fry Pan and Crepe Pan. In the following we will use the
generic term cookware, referring to both pots and pans (found
in separate sets, models ZG-ACS02 and ZG-ACS 03).
The items are suitable for use on gas, electric, glass ceramic,
induction and halogen hobs.
Follow the instructions given below for mounting and removing
the lid knob that comes with the Casserole set (see fig. 1).
Mounting the lid knob - the surface must be clean and free of
fatty residues in order to mount the lid knob on the glass lid.
Position the lid knob in the centre of the glass lid and press the
red button for fixating it.
Removing the lid knob - in order to remove the lid knob, pull the
rubber flap and lift up the lid knob.
How to use your cookware
• Before first use, remove all labels and rinse with clean water.
• Cook on low to medium heat for best cooking results. High
heat can burn food, waste energy and cause the surface of
cookware to discolor after some time.
FIG. 1
• Before the first use, grease the inside of the cookware with a
thin layer of cooking oil.
• Do not use sharp objects such as knives/forks and metal spoons with sharp corners/edges. Use only wooden, plastic or silicone kitchen
utensils.
• Cool the cookware before washing to protect against rapid temperature changes that can cause warping.
• Do not leave cookware with a non-stick surface on the heat for more than 3 minutes without adding food. Do not pour oil after the pot/pan
has heated up, but from the very beginning.
• The plastic handles of the pots/pans with non-stick interior withstand temperatures between 160 and 220° Celsius, so keep them away from
direct flame.
Note for induction hobs
A noise may occur under certain conditions, resulting from the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the cookware. This is
absolutely normal and does not mean that the induction hob or cookware is damaged. Place the pot/pan in the middle of the induction hob.
CAUTIONS! Fast heating speed! Do not overheat the cookware when preheating. The room must be well ventilated, in case the cookware
has overheated.
This item combines the benefits of aluminum cookware, such as low weight and high thermal conductivity, with the benefits of induction
cooking. To enable this, steel magnetic elements have been inserted into the aluminum base. Consequently, the base is not entirely
magnetic, so on induction hobs that are significantly larger than the diameter of the base, the induction coils may not react. This is not a
quality defect and does not affect functionality. For the item to work perfectly, please always place it on the hob corresponding to the diameter
of the base.
The item is suitable for keeping food warm in the oven (max. 160°C for 1 hour).
Cleaning
Allow the cookware to cool before washing. Sudden cooling can cause a thermal shock that can lead to cracking of the vessel.
Always remove food scraps immediately to make cleaning easier and reduce the risk of corrosion. If the food has dried on the dish, pour hot
water into the dish and let it soak for a few minutes. Then clean normally.
Never hold the hot product under cold water. The bottom of the product may be damaged or detached.
The item is dishwasher safe. However, handwashing is recommended because certain detergents are very aggressive and corrosive
(particularly those in tablet form) for aluminium parts. To maintain the aesthetic qualities of your products, dishwasher use is not
recommended. Do not leave the cookware in the dishwasher after the wash cycle has completed.
Hand wash with hot water and regular detergent. Avoid using sharp objects, abrasive substances or hard brushes to avoid damaging the
material.
It is recommended that you dry the cookware thoroughly immediately after washing.
ATTENTION!
Beware of the heat, once the cookware are heated there may be a danger of burns. Also watch out for steam, hot oil, boiling water, etc. Use
heat-resistant oven mitts to handle pans/pots or their lids. To allow steam to release when using your tempered glass lids for steaming or
boiling, simply lift or angle the lid slightly to release steam.
Do not clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners. Frequent cleaning with strong cleaning agents can damage and discolor dishes.
Aluminum parts may discolor when placed in the dishwasher.
Never use cookwares if the handles are loose. Retighten the handle screw joint if necessary.
Do not move the cookware back and forth on glass-ceramic hobs! We recommend before cooking to wipe briefly the surface of the hob and
the cookware bottom with a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g. microfiber) to reduce the risk of scratches.
Mechanical shocks can remove the non-stick layers.
Products with an external coating (ceramic, etc.) must be handled with proper care to prevent permanent damage to the coating.
Avoid putting the glass lid over or near a heating source as it will damage the breakage-resistant quality and will cause the glass lid to break
easily.
Do not use the dishes in the microwave oven or on a wood fire. Do not cook in oven at temperatures above 220°C.
Disposal
The material in this product can be recycled. Check your local community recycling rules and whether there are recycling facilities in your
area.
