Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver (not included) remove the screw from the Standard Mode is the default operation mode of the Decibel Reader. While in Standard Mode, bottom of the Battery Compartment, and remove the cover. the Decibel Measurement Reading on the LCD Display will display the current sound reading.
