    Features This manual covers Dove Lighting Systems, Inc.’s line of 4 Channel wall-mount DMX to Analog Decoders with Power Relays: DE412-WM, DE424-WM, and the -WM+ versions of both. This manual will introduce you to the features and operation of your new equipment. To help ensure enjoyable and trouble-free operation, please read this manual carefully and follow its recommendations.

    perfect for spaces where rack mount decoder & relay packs are too bulky. Drawing no more than 40 Amps, the DE412 may be powered from a single 100 to 240 VAC circuit, and the DM424 may be powered from two 40 Amp circuits or a single 80 Amp source when fully loaded.

    Maximum air temperature must not exceed 50°C (122°F). It is essential that this unit have adequate cooling for safe, reliable performance.   • Page 8 Terminal 6 is +15VDC referenced to Common (actually +12VDC is sourced from this terminal in spite of the legacy circuit board label). This is a regulated power source. It will typically source over 100mA before dropping out. This source is typically used to power the Dove 0-10V House Light Controls or our MTX-YAMP.

    General Analog 0-10V Wiring Notes: Do not run signal wires in the same conduit with AC power. Also, avoid bundling signal cables with power cables. Ideally when in close proximity, signals would cross power at right angles. These are very low current control signals, so small wires are acceptable including Ethernet cables.

    In Case of Trouble Troubleshooting First make sure the thumbwheel switch is set to a value from 001 to 509, DIP switches 2-3 are on, DIP switches 4-6 are off, and the Force-On input is not connected to common. Using the Force-On input by momentarily shorting it to common will confirm if the relays operate by hearing them click.
