20-177-SWC - FORD FIESTA RESISTIVE STEERING CONTROLS (M BUTTON)
Removing the factory radio and display
1.
Remove the top surround from the display by using a plastic trim panel tool (Sold separately)
2.
Remove the two screws from the display, the two screws from the front of the radio fascia and the two bolts
at the top of the radio fascia.
3.
Remove the blanking panel under the radio using a plastic trim panel tool.
4.
Remove the now revealed screws from the radio
5.
Disconnect and remove the display, the radio fascia and the original radio unit.
6.
Using the instructions supplied with your new fascia, prepare the dashboard to accept a new head unit.
Connecting to the original display
1.
Connect the 12 pin connecter to the original radio display connecter, then plug the 12 pin latched end into the
original display.
2.
Connect the SWC GROUND to the ST REMOTE GND and KEY 1/ SWC 1 to the ST REMOTE INPUT
Connecting to the original radio connector
1.
Plug the 24 Pin connector into the cars original radio connector.
2.
Connect the brown and black ISO connectors to the new radio.
3.
If using a DAB splitter connect the loose blue wire from the ISO connector to the DAB splitter
4.
Connect any aerial adapters, microphone and USB connections.
