Thanks for purchasing another Flipo® product intended to make life a little easier. FLIPO®
offers a wide variety of unique products of the highest quality. To ensure the maximum
performance of your product, please read and save these instructions.
Battery Installation:
Remove the lights from the packaging with care so as not to damage the wires. Make sure
that the cord is completely unraveled and that there are no snags in it. To access the battery
compartment located in the electronics box, open the clips located on the side of the box
(Figure A). Install 3 C sized batteries according to the polarity diagram located in the battery
compartment. Close the lid and return the clips to the locked position. For best results, use
alkaline batteries. ALWAYS remove batteries when the lights will not be in use for a prolonged
period.
Set-Up:
Your lights are water and weather resistant – they can be exposed to precipitation but should not be
covered in snow or sit in standing water. Choose the location you would like to place your lights and
position the electronics box accordingly – it can be set on a flat surface or hung by a screw or nail from
hanger located at the top of the box (Figure B). Each of the C7 bulbs has a small clip that can be used
to assist in hanging your lights.
Timer & Illumination Functions:
This light set includes a daily timer. When the lights are activated, they will illuminate and then
automatically turn off after 6 hours. The following day, if the setting has not been modified, the lights
will automatically turn on at the same time and will automatically turn off after 6 hours.
1. At the desired time you would like the lights to illuminate, press the FUNCTION button located in the
top left corner (Figure B), to switch the lights on.
2. When activated, the FUNCTION (Figure B), button can be used to change the lights flashing pattern.
There are a total of 8 patterns – Combination (all functions sequentially), Waves, Sequential, Sequential
Fade, Flashing Chase, Fade, Twinkling & Steady On.
3. Once Illuminated, push the FUNCTION button to select a flashing pattern. When you find a pattern
you like, stop pushing the button – the lights will continue to illuminate in the chosen pattern.
