We are certain that this product will give you trouble-free operation while providing you with safety features that enhance your driving experience. DISCLAIMER Our products are designed to assist and aid the driver, not to replace the manual function of the person operating the vehicle. Although the HM-CAM15 is a visual aid and will allow you to view what is behind the vehicle, it does not remove the responsibility of driving the vehicle from the driver. IMPORTANT NOTICE • Please read this user manual carefully before using the product. • Wire connection points should always be insulated. • Wiring should always be installed away from heat sources and electrical components. • Please perform tests after finishing installation to ensure camera is working correctly. • This camera is intended for use as an aid when reversing your vehicle. Drivers must always use extreme caution when operating a vehicle. • Specifications are subject to change without notice. WARNING • Do not disassemble the camera or cut the camera cable as this voids the warranty. Disassembling the camera will compromise the waterproof seal. -

Working Temperature: -30°C to 85°C NOTE: • The Hema HM-CAM15 is only compatible for use with the Hema HM-MNT 7" AHD Monitor. WIRING DIAGRAM AND INSTALLATION Switching Wire Video Extension Cable - RCA Adaptor to be used depending Monitor Video Input on monitor input. RCA Adaptor is not required for use with Hema monitors. -

Switching Wire FIG. 01 • Front View Option: The HM-CAM15 functions as a rear view camera as standard. To change the orientation of the image to front or side view please cut the WHITE wire near the camera lead. (Refer to FIG. 01) • Guideline Option: The HM-CAM15 has parking guidelines as a default. To remove guidelines, cut the thin GREEN wire near the camera lead and the guidelines will now be removed. (Refer to FIG. 01) TESTING Apply the parking brake as a safety precaution. Turn on the ignition but DO NOT START THE ENGINE. Shift into reverse gear. Image should appear on the Monitor (sold separately). TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM SOLUTION 1. C heck video input connections “No Signal” appears while reversing 2. C heck camera power connections... -

In order to claim the warranty, you must return the product to the retailer from which it was purchased or if that retailer is part of a national network, a store within that chain, along with satisfactory proof of purchase. The retailer will then return the goods to Directed Electronics. Directed Electronics will repair, replace or refurbish the product at its discretion. The retailer will contact you when the product is ready for collection. All costs involved in claiming this warranty, including the cost of the retailer sending the product to Directed Electronics, will be borne by you.
