Instructions for safe use
DO NOT PUT WATER INTO THE HEATING PAN.
This is an Innovative product. Water is NOT needed.
Warning
Please read these care and use instructions before use.
1. Handle with care. The unit may be hot during use or when it has just been switched off.
2. Before first use, ensure the item is clean – in particular the food pan. This pan may be washed in a dishwasher. Other components should be cleaned by hand
– not immersed in water and not put in a dishwasher.
3. Do not use the chafer for anything other than its intended use.
4. The chafer should only be used for keeping food warm, not cooking. Food should be cooked before it is put into the unit.
5. This unit is designed to be 'waterless'. Do not add water into the chafer, except the food pan.
6. When this unit is used to serve dry or non-juicy food (such as rice), you may use an optional moist plate (sold separately) and add a small amount of hot water
to the food pan only.
7. AVOID ACCIDENTS: do not overfill the food pan. Do not move or tilt the chafer whilst it is plugged in or whilst it contains hot food.
8. Always use the chafer on a flat, stable surface
9. When cleaning, switch off and disconnect from the electrical source.
10. Do not immerse the stand, lid or heating element in water.
11. The item will remain hot after use and for some time after it has been switched off : do not clean the unit until it has fully cooled down.
12. This chafer can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
13. Children shall not play with the chafer. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
14. If the chafer is no longer required, dispose of it in accordance with any local or national disposal regulations relating to the reuse, recovery and recycling of
waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
15. This chafer must be earthed and is for indoor use only,
16. Do not connect it with shared sockets.
17. Do not 'disassemble' the main unit or attempt to repair it. If repair is needed, contact your supplier or local Sunnex distributor.
