Human Machine Interface
The PW S 3261 is equipped with a 10.4" VGA (640Hx480V) L CD
D
display and analog resistive touch screen. The IP 65 (NEMA 4) rated
Introduction
f ront pan el seal and industrial grade touch screen make t he prod uct
rugged an d durable. There are three display options: color TFT LCD,
color DSTN LCD, a nd Mono FS TN LCD. You can choo se appropriate
one according to your application's need. Every P W S 3261 HMI
comes wit h a printer port th at allows you to print out inf ormation
about
upload/ download applications a nd source codes. W ith the supp ort of
USB, your de velopmen t and test cycle could b e speeded up as its
speed is more than twice as fa st a s the tradition al download/upload
via COM ports.
This chapter describes ho w to install your PW S to a panel, to set its
DIP switches, a nd t o make cables f or its communications an d p rinte r
ports.

If this happe ns, conf igure as described in section D.10 (Settin g Ope rating Paramete rs). If you have never downloaded an application to the PW S, the self-test may rep ort a problem in th e f lash chips.

The parameters set in ADP is transmitted to the PW S Setting along with all other data when you download an app lication.
