The devices can be operated as PROFINET and as PROFIsafe device. But only the manufacturer W. Gessmann can define the PROFINET or PROFIsafe operation of each module.

The concrete assignment is defined in the wiring diagram.

    5 Commissioning During commissioning of the V85 PROFINET / PROFIsafe device, there are no special features compared to other PROFINET devices. However, a brief check of the status LEDs is recommended. The following table explain the status LEDs. These LEDs can be used to determine the device status.
