Cleaning before use Wipe the inside of the Freezer with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda. Then rinse with warm water using a damp sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves and baskets. If you require more information refer to CLEANING on page 7.

Noises inside the freezer! You may notice that it makes some rather unusual noises. Most of these are perfectly normal, but you should be aware of them as per below! Gurgling, whooshing These noises are caused by the circulation of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling system. It has become more pronounced since the introduction of HC free gases.

Freezing fresh foods Useful tips Use quality food and handle it as little as possible. Freeze food in small quantitie, it freezes faster and takes less time to thaw. DEFROSTING Defrosting This is NOT a frost-free unit. After a period of time frost and ice will build up in the frozen food compartment. This is due to air and moisture entering the unit and condensing into ice caused by regular opening and closing of the door.
