    INSTALLATION STEP 2: Wiring The 16 Shade Smart Power Supply uses low-voltage electrical wiring to supply power and communication to the shade motors. Wire terminations must be made at both the power supply as well as the shade. Wire terminations at the power supply are made at the terminal block ports inside the power supply enclosure.

    INSTALLATION Wire Terminations at the Shade Wire terminations at the shade are made by connecting the electrical wiring to a provided male plug-in connector. The male plug-in connector is then connected to the power cable coming from the shade. NOTE: If you are daisy-chaining the shades, proceed to “For Daisy-Chain Applications” on page 12.

    INSTALLATION For Daisy-Chain Applications PowerView+ offers a daisy-chain cable that is compatible with the 16 Shade Smart Power ™ Supply, and can be used to daisy-chain up to three shades. CAUTION: When daisy-chaining shades, the connection to the terminal blocks at the power supply must be distributed properly.
