When baking or broiling, I guess you use one of the racks. But what catches any grease that drops? Do you put the crispntray underneath? Model gcst10a1

I just purchased the GCST10 microqwave. I tested it (Air Fry works great) and then went to use the Microwave to heat a cup of coffee and the microwave plate does not work and it does not heat anything. **** I doing something wrong.
