STEP 2
Attach gear unit to mounting plate with two
3/8" x 1-1/2" carriage bolts, 3/8" washer,
and 3/8" nuts. (Side with gears faces away
from the lift).
STEP 3
Slide shaft of cable drum (with spacer tube)
into hole in center of gear unit and
fasten to mounting plate using
1/2" x 4" bolts, the small
backing plate, washers
and 1/2" nuts.

NOTE: Assembly diagrams show mounting for the left side of the lift.
STEP 1
(LEFT SIDE MOUNTING)
Place the Mounting Plate on the lift's
winch arm as illustrated, using the
small backing plate and four 1/2" x
3-1/2" bolts, 1/2" washers and nuts.

Installing the hoist on the right side of the lift is
basically the same, except the entire assembly is
turned 180°. Begin by positioning the mounting
plate as shown at right, with the reinforced sec-
tion at the top. Attach with small Backing plate,
four 1/2" x 3-1/2" bolts, 1/2" washers and nuts.
The small plate is at the top of the winch
arm, on top of the reinforcing bar.
For remaining steps, keep in mind that parts will
be turned 180° from what is shown in diagrams.
