This product is designed for young children and therefore
supervision is required at all times.
Level surface
We recommend placing this product on firm level ground.
Dirty Water
Please ensure that the bowls are emptied of water at the beginning
and end of every play time.
Natural Material
This product has been made from premium Scandinavian timber.
Great care has been taken in selecting, treating and machining the
timber. Timber is a natural product and as such may experience
changes throughout the course of its life.
This means timber may:
•
Develop openings (gaps, slits, apertures, cracks, splits) along the
line of the grain. These openings are due to the difference in
moisture content between the internal and outer surfaces of the
timber. This is to be expected, is totally acceptable and will not
affect the integral strength, life or guarantee of the product.
•
Warp and distort its shape. Any distortion will be slight and will
not affect the safety or enjoyment of this product.
•
Fade as the timber reacts with sunlight and rain.
Good maintenance should help prevent the 3 points detailed above.

Mildew and mould growth
Mildew / mould will start to grow on all outdoor surfaces, including
our outdoor range of pressure treated products. The closer our
products are sited near plants and trees the higher the probability
that mould or mildew will develop more quickly but it can happen in
any outdoor area and at any time, even from new. Scrub the areas
effected with a mildew disinfectant solution (mildewcide) as
required. Always test on a small area first and allow to fully dry.
Maintenance
Please check the product at regular intervals, and frequently tighten
fixings if necessary. If maintenance is not carried out, the product
could cease to function properly. Periodically inspect for cracks,
breaks, loose parts, missing parts, and/or malfunctions. Remove the
product from service when any condition develops that might make
operation unsafe.
Pressure treated wooden products weather to a natural silver-grey if
left untreated. If you prefer to keep them looking like new, in the
summer months, scrub with a mildew disinfectant solution
(mildewcide). Only when dry, sand and apply a non-toxic penetrating
exterior wood preserving stain or a furniture oil suitable for garden
furniture. Always follow the instructions on any products used and
test in a small area first. A good stain or oil should help prevent
weather damage, which includes cracks and splitting.
Pressure Treatment Process
All our products are pressure treated to safeguard it against rot
caused by fungi and insect attack. After the treatment process it is
natural for green patches to become visible on the surface of the
wood. This colouration is caused when the preservative reacts with
the natural wood resins. The treatment is child safe and will not have
any detrimental effects on your natural environment.
