STX4-4000 Quick Start Instructions
To enjoy the use of your new SkyTracker please follow these simple steps.
1. Make sure the generator is fully fueled.
2. Check to make sure the Main Circuit breaker in the generator wiring panel is
OFF.
3. Turn the On/Off key on the generator control panel to ON.
4. Once the generator self-check is complete press the green ON button on the
generator control panel. The generator should start and begin to supply power.
Display on control panel should read 120V on each Leg.
5. Turn Main Circuit breaker on.
6. Move to SkyTracker control panel. Turn ON the Master circuit breaker (large
white rocker switch) and the Motion Control circuit breakers at the top of the
panel. Make sure that the Local/Remote switch is in LOCAL.
7. Turn on each circuit breaker for each Lamphead ON.
8. Turn on each On/Off switch for each lamphead to the ON position. As you turn
on each lamphead you will hear a short "tink" sound and the lamp will light. If a
particular lamphead does not light turn Turn the On/Off switch to OFF and turn
Off the associated circuit breaker. Wait 20 seconds and try again.
9. Once all four heads are on turn the Motion On/Off switch to On. The heads will
rotate.
10. To shutdown follow the above steps in reverse. Turn the Motion OFF. The
heads will slowly return to a full upright position. Turn Off each Lamphead
On/Off switch. DO NOT TURN OFF the Lamphead circuit breaker! Each
lamphead is provided with a Fan Cool Down Timer. The fans will operate for 20
minutes and automatically turn off.
11. Once the cooling cycle is complete you can turn off the Lamphead circuit
breakers and the Motor Control and Master circuit breakers. This prepares the
system for its next use.
12. Turn off the main circuit breaker on the generator.
13. Turn off the generator at the generator control panel (red button).
14. Lock generator off.
Here are some troubleshooting tips.
If the light stops motion in the middle of operation this is an indication that someone or
something has come into contact with the moving lights. The lights stop to avoid
damage or injury. To restart motion once the conflict is resolved, turn the Motion On/Off
