1. Description. The DOSC is a Dual Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO) featuring an intuitive and minimalist design for quick and easy use. Each oscillator has five outputs with di erent waveform shapes and includes a unique feature to distort the sawtooth wave by pressing button (5).

3. Functions, Inputs and Outputs. ZanySignals' design prioritizes ease of interpretation and use, allowing for quick and straightforward integration into your workflow. As a result, it's more ergonomic in its knobs, ensuring anyone feels comfortable when interacting with each module.

The primary functions are assigned to the large black knobs. Secondary and tertiary functions are represented by the small black and blue knobs, respectively. Switches are implemented to toggle or hold a function. Function 1 Function 2 The E-switches are designed to allow for three possible functions.

Signal inputs are provided through 1/8" jacks, which are clearly distinguished from the outputs as they have a simple boundary, unfilled outline. Inputs Signal outputs are provided via 1/8" jacks, which in this case feature a fully highlighted or filled silkscreen. Otuputs The functions of the knobs and switches are represented by numbers, input/output by letters.

DOSC features: Primary Knobs: Freq: Allows for increasing or decreasing the oscillator frequency in large steps, spanning a wide range, thus o ering the possibility to produce sounds ranging from the lowest to the highest pitches. Secondary Knobs: Fine: Allows for fine-tuning the oscillator frequency in smaller increments, ideal for setting the frequency to a precise point.

Tertiary Knobs: Lin/Exp: The blue knob corresponds to an intensity control of the modulating input signal, allowing selection between Linear FM and Exponential FM. Switches: Distortion:The sawtooth signal can be distorted by pressing the switch located above its output. Inputs: 1V/OCT: Voltage Control (CV) to the oscillator's frequency (Freq).
(Sine, Square, Triangle, Ramp, and Sawtooth). All five signals can be used simultaneously. 4. Operation: For the proper use of the DOSC, it's recommended to familiarize yourself with each knob and its functions as previously described in the seven di erent points of the module.

The DOSC is a 100% analog module. Each knob, whether primary, secondary, or tertiary, has both a minimum and maximum value. This means that when a knob is in its initial position (left), it corresponds to its minimum value, and in its final position (right), it corresponds to its maximum value.
Being a 100% analog oscillator, it's necessary for the circuit to reach an operational temperature for the correct octave note change operation. After powering on the DOSC, it takes approximately 40 minutes for the oscillators to be calibrated and stable. To test the calibration, use a tuner to identify the oscillator's tone.

Avoid directly touching any electrical contact of the distribution bus and the power source. The DOSC is a module that requires a ±12V power supply, i.e., a 10-pin (2x5 pins) connector. Connect the Ribbon cable to the 10-pin female connector on the module's circuit board.
Install the DOSC into the Eurorack case rails and secure it using the 4 mounting screws of 3mm fine thread. Turn on your Eurorack case and verify its proper functioning. 6. Electrical and Mechanical Specifications: Power supply: +12V, -12V. Power consumption: 30mA at +12V, 30mA at -12V.

Avoid altering any component and/or parameter of this module's circuit board, which has been properly calibrated with specialized equipment for its correct operation. Tampering with any component and/or parameter will void the manufacturing warranty of this module. Relevant service fees will be charged for its repair. Usage Warnings for Appropriate Environments: The product should remain and be operated in suitable environments that are not a ected by humidity, heat, or...
During the warranty period (1 year for this module), the defective product will be repaired or replaced at ZanySignals' discretion. It is necessary to return the product to ZanySignals' facilities, with the consumer covering the shipping costs. This allows us to review and inspect the module's defects and proceed with the repair.

For patching guidelines, it's important to note that the knobs are always in their minimum position. Therefore, emphasis is only on the module connections, not on the specific knob settings.

There are several synthesis processes that employ multiple modules based on the requirements of the DOSC (Dual VCO). The process begins with additive synthesis by summing three signals from the DOSC into the MonoPlus (Mono Mixer). These signals are then routed to the Strainer (Dual VCF) for subtractive synthesis.
