It is a tool to be used in addition to the mobile app to assist with a useful subset of testing/programming functions.

Classified WaveLinx PRO IR Remote User Manual (SR9) Quick Operation Test of a Device Installers or setup technicians: Use the WaveLinx PRO IR Remote to perform a quick operation check. The selected sensor will cycle the connected lighting to verify that the sensor is properly controlling the lighting. The operation test command will work in the following situations: 1: Stand directly below the sensor and point the IR remote at the sensor lens.

Set the occupancy sensor to low (LO) sensitivity if it is detecting motion outside of the desired coverage area or to slow the response time. Set the occupancy sensor to high (HI) sensitivity to regain the full motion sensing range and to ensure a faster response time.

This command is issued to any supported sensor connected to a fixture that is operated by the open loop daylight set.
