The anti-downdraught chimney cowl consists of a number of components whose outlet section sum always doubles the flue pipe section. Make sure the chimney cowl is at least 150cm above the roof rise so that it is fully exposed to the wind. -

Their density is therefore lower than the one of the surrounding colder air. This difference between the inside and outside temperatures of the chimney results in a negative pressure which increases proportionally to the vent pipe length and the temperature. -

Installation, use and maintenance manual ---- - WOOD BURNING STOVES PRODUCT USE PRODUCT USE POWER ON POWER ON The first ignition after installation must be performed with very little wood. This is used to understand if the installation has been performed correctly and there is no loss of smoke and for settling of the product structure. To light the stove, small (dry) logs and possibly ecological fire-lighters are required. -

If the wood is damp or the flue does not have much draft, it is advisable to leave the door ajar. The moment you close it and the fire tends to go out, reopen the door and favor the complete ignition of the initial charge.
