1) USE, SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Safety helmet - W-018PE
This safety helmet complies with European Regulation 2016/425/EU and is manufactured in
accordance with the requirements of standard EN397: 2012 + A1: 2012 on industrial safety
helmets. It is designed exclusively to protect the head against falling objects in the forest or on
a building site.

2) COMPOSITION:
1
1 - Suspension.
2 - Safety helmet.
3 - Anti-noise (two pieces).

3) ASSEMBLY:
•
Place the suspension or headband (1) inside the helmet (2) by inserting the four lugs into
the slots provided on the helmet. Make sure the sweatband on the suspension faces the
front of the helmet.
•
Use the screw on the back of the suspension to adjust the headband so that it is a
comfortable fit for you.
•
Insert the clips for attaching the ear cups (3) into the slots on the outside of the helmet (2).
•
Adjust the cups to the correct pressure on the ears (two positions) so that the ear cups stay
firmly in place. The ear cups are hinged and can be positioned on the back of the helmet in
the resting position.
•
Fit the visor (5) on the bracket (4), aligning the lights on the top of the visor with the locking
system. Secure the visor by turning the pins to lock the visor in position.
•
Slide the two sleeves located on either side of the visor support (4) into the slots provided
for this purpose in the clips securing the ear cups (3).
•
Check that the visor can be raised and lowered freely and adjust the depth of the visor if
necessary.
4) APPLICATION OF THE E-2008D NOISE BARRIER.
ATTENTION: The manufacturer recommends that the wearer ensures that this hearing
protection is assembled, fitted and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions and is regularly inspected to facilitate maintenance.
These ear cups, when worn correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
below, can offer the user excellent protection against hazardous noise by filtering out the high
frequencies emitted by dynamic machinery such as workshop equipment, chain saws, brush
cutters, blowers, etc. The appropriate marking can be found on the cups of the ear cushions.
WARNING: This noise barrier belongs to the size range "medium" and size range "large".
Headbands complying with EN 352-3 belong to the size range "medium", the size range "small"
or the size range "large". Headbands in the size range "medium" are suitable for most people.
Headbands in the size range "small/large" are designed to suit people for whom headbands in
the size range "medium" are not suitable.
