    • During installation, ensure that the cables are not cut, that cut or damaged cables are not used and that they shall be replaced. • This appliance does not contain a device that evacuates combustion gases. Install the appliance as per the applicable installation regulations. Pay attention to the ventilation requirements particularly.

    4. INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE / RULES OF INSTALLATION / SETTINGS 4.1 Transportation of the Appliance Do not use the door and/or handle to transport or move the product. The door, handle or hinges may be damaged. The appliance shall always be handled by 2 persons due to reasons of safety and ergonomics.

  • Page 12 Preparation of location and electrical installation for the product is under customer’s responsibility. The product must be installed in accordance with all local electrical regulations. Before installing the product, remove all the materials and documents in it and visually check if the product has any defects on it. If so, do not have it installed. The product is heavy, carry the product with at least two people.
  • Page 13 The appliance must be installed so that it can be completely disconnected from the mains supply. The separation must be provided by a switch built into the fixed electrical installation, according to construction regulations. Rear surface of the oven gets hot when it is in use. Make sure that the electrical connection does not come into contact with the rear surface otherwise, connections can get damaged.

    7. GENERAL OPERATION PRINCIPLE The electronic control circuit (Module) used in Grundig electronically-controlled ovens offers features such as the control of the oven functions, displaying the time of the day in digital format, displaying the cooking time, timer (setting count down time, giving an audible warning when the count down finishes), etc.

  • Page 73 Remove the cables of the resistance. Touch the probes of the measurement device to the terminals of the resistance. The fact that a value is displayed on the multimeter display indicates that the resistance is operational. If no value is displayed on the multimeter display, this indicates that the resistance is faulty.

    13. ASSEMBLY / DISASSEMBLY OF THE COMPONENTS 13.1 Removal of the Panel The upper wall must be removed before removing the panel. Remove the upper wall fastening screws with a Phillips screwdriver. The board is fixed with nails as in the picture. Bend these nails outward with pliers and remove the clock.

    Remove the screws on the right and left of the lower skirt of the panel. Take the panel by pulling it upwards. 13.2 Thermostat Removal Remove the upper wall as described above. Remove the thermostat button on the front of the panel by pulling it towards you. After removing the button, you will have reached the 2 screws holding the thermostat.
