Connect Solar CPS9V500 power supply or
equivalent 9volt DC, 100mA Minimum, 5.33mm
center negative barrel connector here.
1. POWER
When powering up: Turn on power to your
amplifier AFTER pedal.
When powering down: Turn off power to your
amplifier BEFORE pedal.
Plug 1/4 inch cable from your guitar into
2. INPUT
this jack on right side of pedal.
On/Off switch for pedal function. When
"ON" LED light will be illuminated Green
3. SWITCH
or Red pending gate status. No light
when bypassed.
GREEN indicates that pedal has power
and function is engaged. RED LED is
triggered by the Gate threshold. When
4. LED
the gate is operating and removing signal,
the LED will change from GREEN to
RED.
Plug 1/4 inch cable from this jack on left
side of pedal into your Amplifier, Interface,
Mixer, D.I. or other sound source. (Leave
5. OUTPUT
volume of Amplifier or interface at zero
until connected and SLOWLY turn up
output to hear sound)
Outer/lower knob controls the amount of
6. LF GAIN
Low Frequency content filtered from the
guitar into the Gain circuit.
Inner/top knob controls the amount of
7. HF GAIN
High Frequency content filtered from the
guitar into the Gain circuit.
This is a single function knob control that
8. GAIN
varies the amount of gain (ie; distortion,
overdrive) added to the signal.
Inner/top knob controls the "Threshold" of
the Noise Gate. The Gate will shut off the
guitar signal to the output in a variable
way pending the position of this knob.
9. GATE
The LED indicator is RED when gate is
stopping signal and GREEN when
allowing signal to pass. The "Threshold"
is impacted by the other controls (LF
Gain, HF Gain, Gain)
Outer/lower knob controls the amount of
signal out of the pedal to whatever
10. OUT
equipment is connected via the 1/4"
output jack.
Outer/lower knob controls the Treble
11. TREB
(high frequency) equalization of the post
gain signal.
Inner/top knob controls the "PRESENCE"
or upper high frequency equalization.
12. PRES
This is the same as the presence control
with a traditional amplifier.
Single function knob control that controls
the amount of midrange frequency. This
13. MIDDLE
Equalization control will have the most
dramatic effect on the guitar sound.
Inner/top knob controls the DEPTH or sub
low frequency equalization. This is similar
14. DEPTH
to the negative feedback circuit based
depth control on a traditional amplifier.
Outer/lower knob controls the Bass (low
15. BASS
frequency) equalization of the post gain
signal.
