What you need:
● T40 Torx security bit.
● A stool to stand on to reach the turnbuckles.
● Recommended assistance from another individual for removing the back panel if your panel is
not hinged.
Intro:
Upon delivery of your Proto Epic, the unit will have eight foam pieces and two turnbuckles
internally installed in the back of the unit to prevent damage during transportation. Once you unload the
Epic at your desired location and will not be transporting the unit for an extended period of time, it is
important to remove these items. If the foam and turnbuckles are left installed, they will cast shadows
on the screen of the Epic, interfering with the quality of the screen's presentation. After these items are
removed from the Epic, they will need to be stored in a location where they can easily be found, as both
the foam and turnbuckles will need to be installed each time the Epic is transported over long distances.
Failure to insert both foam and turnbuckles during transportation may cause damage to the screen or
lightbox and these will not be covered under the warranty. If you are simply transporting the Epic to
another room nearby, the wheels on the bottom of the Epic and gently moving the unit should suffice.
