The buttons will have default presets. You can custom map these but- tons by clicking on each button and setting the functions for that button in the Key Setting Dialog.

CHAPTER: 3 Functions Click on the first button on the JD 1 application (1), you’ll notice that it has a default setting in place (ctrl+3) with the function “scale to 1 second” (2). Click on clear (3). You now can change its functions simply by changing the com- binations in the dialog box.

CHAPTER: 3 Functions Make sure you do not add two or more different combina- tions for any one button. You can also customize the other buttons to do shortcuts instead of using the keyboard. Do not do this.
In shuttle mode, you can control the playback speed. You can play forward or reverse from 1/4 up to 40x. Below are commands for Canopus Storm Edit and Rex Edit. Raptor Edit and Ez Edit do not have some of these functions.
