Storage and transportaon:
• Store in accordance with the instrucons provided on the packaging.
• Use original packaging provided when storing/transporng.
• Respirators shall be stored in a manner that will protect them against dust, ozone,
sunlight, heat, extreme cold, excessive moisture, vermin, damaging chemicals, oils,
greases, and/or any other potenal hazard that can have a detrimental effect on
the respirator.
• Respirators shall be stored in a manner that will prevent deformaon and/or
physical damage.
Cauons and Limitaons
• Before using the respirator, the wearer shall read and understand all the
informaon provided.
• Check that the respirator is clean and in good condion before each use.
• Always check the manufacturing date of the respirator to make sure that the
product is not exceeding 5-year shelf life.
• This respirator is not recommended to be used with beards or other facial hair
that may compromise contact/seal between the product and skin of the face.
• Temples of eyeglasses or any other materials such as hair, cloth, ssue, straps, or
jewellery shall not come between the skin and the sealing surface of the
respirator or interfere with the operaon of the respirator according to CAN/CSA
Z94.4 guidelines.
• Do not use in oxygen-deficient atmospheres. CAN/CSA Z94.4 defines
oxygen-deficient atmosphere as those where oxygen concentraon is confirmed
to be below 19.5 % (at sea level).
• Replace the respirator with a new one if it becomes damaged or breathing
resistance becomes excessive and/or intolerable.
• If a person wearing this respirator develops any condion that leads to
compromising the respirator seal to the face, the person shall restore the required
fing in a non-hazardous environment.
• This respirator shall not be used in condions and/or with atmospheric
contaminaons which are considered Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health
(IDLH). IDLH (determined by CAN/CSA Z94.4) is an atmosphere that poses an

impair an individual's ability to escape.
• This respirator shall not be altered, modified, repaired, or cleaned.
• Do NOT use this respirator for oil-based parcles.
• Do NOT use this respirator in condions where parcle concentraons exceed the
maximum allowable limit as per the applicable regulaon and standard. The
maximum allowable concentraon is obtained by mulplying Assigned Protecon
Factor (APF*) and the Permissible Occupaonal Exposure Limit (OEL) of the
contaminant. This type of disposable respirator is assigned an APF of 10 (APF=10),
which means it helps protect against certain parcles in concentraon up to
10 × OEL.
* APF is the ancipated level of respiratory protecon that would be provided by a properly
funconing respirator or class of respirators to properly fied and trained users and is used
by regulators and standards development organizaons, such as the U.S. Naonal Instute
of Occupaonal Safety and Health (NIOSH) and Canadian Standards Associaon
(CAN/CSA Z94.4 Selecon, use, and care of respirators).
