  • Page 25 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing your Bush Hog RTC50G Series Tiller. Your rotary tiller is designed to be used on CAT 1 540 RPM tractors. It is important to properly maintain and keep in place all safety guards and shields that came with your tiller.

    ASSEMBLY GENERAL Bush Hog RTC series Tillers are shipped from the factory partially assembled in a shipping crate and requires some assembly before being placed into service. Follow these instructions listed to safely remove the Tiller from the shipping crate and prepare for assembly 1.

    OPERATION BUSH HOG RTC50G TILLER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The Tiller is manufactured with quality material by skilled workers. This implement is ideal in horticultural, agricultural, or commercial applications, especially for landscapers, rental yards, vineyards, vegetable farms, and nurseries. The implement is equipped with protective deflectors to prevent objects being thrown from the implement by the blades, however, no shielding is 100% effective.

    Place the tractor shift lever into a low range or parking gear to prevent the tractor from rolling. Never dismount a Tractor that is moving or while the engine is running.     The adjustment bolts for both right and left sides should be positioned in the same adjustment hole. This allows the tiller to till the same depth on each side.
