Feel free to get an understanding of the headset before continuing. The first real step is to turn on your Quest 3 headset. You can do this by pressing the 4. Power button. If the headset does not turn on, you may need to charge it.

There are a few things that you need to do before entering a VINCI app. 2a. The Oculus Dashboard The first step to opening a VINCI app is knowing the oculus dashboard. You should look for this as soon as you are in VR.

2c. Open the App Library Target the app library button with your laser, and press the Trigger button to open it. The app library is where you can access any application on your headset; VINCI apps included! 2d. Open a VINCI App! The last step is to point at the appropriate app icon (see below for examples) and to press the Trigger button.

3 - Introduction to Offshore Wind 3a. Description Introduction to Offshore Wind is a quick experience meant to show what it’s like to see a turbine working in action, while teaching the user a little about green energy. Introduction to Offshore Wind has been recently updated to our new Immersive Classroom product.

4 - Day in the Life : Welder 4a. Description Day in the Life : Welder is a more advanced training simulation that is currently based in our first iteration of Immersive Classroom. This application puts you into the shoes of a welder; you are required to follow safety procedures, enter the warehouse, and weld tower sections together.

4c. Welding Help When inside of the welding experience, you’ll primarily be prompted to navigate around using teleport, to ‘Inspect” an area by looking at it, or to interact with the world using your controllers in When getting to the welding section, follow the following image for reference on how to control the tower turner.

5 - Day in the Life of an OSW Tech 5a. Description Day in the Life of an OSW Tech puts you in the shoes of a windshore technician. You are required to perform maintenance on a turbine, culminating in a high voltage cabling exercise deep inside of the nacelle.

6 - Principles of Turbine Engineering 6a. Description Principles of Turbine Engineering is an introductory experience meant to provide the fundamentals of the 14MW Direct Drive Turbine, the largest wind turbine in the world. The user will start within a schematic room showcasing the major components of the Turbine and Nacelle, then moving forward to the Turbine itself out at sea.

We’ll be updating our simulations more and more as time goes on; in particular we’re pushing for the Immersive Classroom V3 and bringing Welding up to par with Introduction to Offshore Wind.
