Page 4: Getting Started
Getting started: Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds. When the RocketPen Reader logo appears, release the button. After that, a logo animation should run, followed by the main menu: (Note: If the display does not light up, charge the device for about 30 minutes). - Page 5 3. Hold the pen on a printed text, press down gently, and start moving from left to right. Lift the pen from the paper to finish scanning. Special features There are several features which are dictionary related. In this section there is a description of the special features. Each feature is listed below its dictionary name. Oxford American Children's Dictionary, and New Oxford American Dictionary: View Synonyms of the word. Dictionary is activated, the menu item changes to Unlock Dictionary Access. General Settings Includes the following general Pen settings: Brightness Use this option to adjust the brightness of the display. Screen Standby Time Use this option to change the default standby time. Auto Shut-off Time Use this option to change the default shut-off time. - Page 12 ExamRead application 1. Press the ExamRead application. “Ready to Scan in…” screen appears: 2. There are 2 scanning modes: a. Continuous scanning b. Single line scanning. The default is Continuous scanning. Scan the lines one after another. By pressing the speaker button, the entire scanned text will be read aloud.
