Pre-Install Replacement LCD Prep 1. Turn the LCD over and gently lift and swivel the black plastic connector upwards 90° to ensure it is open. It should be perpendicular to the board. • Connect the ribbon cable by inserting it into the black plastic connector* and then lightly press down on the connector until the cable is secure.

Care and Maintenance WARNING: Only Franklin Electric certified technicians are authorized (see § 2.2) to open the EVO™ console. Electrical hazards exist and injury or death may occur if the console interior is accessed by unauthorized personnel. Console Care Gently wipe the outer areas of the console using a soft, damp cloth to eliminate any residue or buildup.
