Start up:
1
Close the main valve of the pressure regulator by turning up
counterclockwise, and make sure the gasket and threads are clean.
3
Remove the top of the diffuser, fill the diffuser with water and
close it. Then connect the CO
already includes a non-return valve and bubble counter so
installation of these parts is not necessary. Note: At first, large
bubbles appear because the ceramic disc in the diffuser is not yet
saturated with water. This can take up to 24 hours, after which
small bubbles will appear, creating a fine CO
5
Screw the connector with the side with the O-ring into the
solenoid. Cut the CO
hose in two and connect the end coming
2
from the diffuser to the solenoid (to do so, remove the O-ring from
the connector) and the loose piece of hose to the connector.
Connect the open end of the hose to the pressure regulator.

Now turn the pressure regulator straight onto the cylinder until
CO
gas starts escaping from the cylinder. Now turn firmly until
2
the pressure regulator is fully seated on the cylinder.
4
Place the diffuser with the included suction cups as deep as
possible in the aquarium with adequate flow so that the CO
bubbles have to travel as long a path through the water as
possible and thus can dissolve to the maximum. Make sure the
diffuser is visible so you can count the bubbles.
Install the CO
indicator according to the instructions included

with the indicator.

You can also mount the solenoid directly on the pressure
regulator. To do so, however, move the O-ring from the connection
piece to hose connection of the pressure regulator.
