The power button is a recessed button on the inner side of the device, opposite the touch bar. The power button enables you to power the device and enter the audio settings menu.

    • OrCam recommends using only the original OrCam charger provided. • The OrCam MyEye charger supports 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz. • OrCam recommends charging your device at least once a month if you do not use your device frequently. • The device can charge when powered off, awake, and in Suspend mode.     This feature is designed to help you find the information you are looking for in a faster and easier way. You can ask OrCam MyEye to read the due date and amount of your bills, read just the desserts section of a menu, read the phone number off a business card, and more. For Smart Reading to work, the System Language must be identical to the Reading Language, or Automatic Language Detection should be enabled.

    This feature will help you recognize the people in your life. Face Detection. You can personalize your OrCam MyEye by teaching it to recognize the people you know, which can be helpful when you need to identify people such as friends, family, and co-workers.

OrCam MyEye will make a low, double beep sound to indicate it has ended the learning session. • If OrCam MyEye fails to recognize a previously learned person, you can re-learn that face by following the instructions titled “Learn New Faces”.

    • If you do not continue the learning process for at least 5 seconds, OrCam MyEye will announce, “No touch and no product detected; cancelling”. OrCam MyEye will then end the learning session.

    Pointing gesture: Point at the banknote until you hear a double beep. Remove your finger from the area. OrCam MyEye will make a camera shutter sound as it takes a picture of the banknote. Upon recognizing the banknote, OrCam MyEye will announce the banknote’s denomination.

    Place the colored surface 12 inches (30 cm) in front of your face. Point at the colored surface using the pointing gesture. You will hear a double beep. Keep pointing your finger at the colored surface until OrCam MyEye announces the color. OrCam MyEye will chime when done.
