Introduction FRM220-OAB15 is designed for FRM220 chassis rack and is a single channel Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) booster line card for C- band. FRM220-OAB15 cards can provide more optical power but achieve excellent broadband noise performance while they are used for long- haul C-Band DWDM applications. -

Installation FRM220-OAB15 line cards can be placed in FRM220-CH01M, FRM220-CH02M, FRM220-CH04A, FRM220-CH08 and FRM220-CH20 chassis that are with universal slots. The line cards can be installed in any of the slots except the slot that is reserved for the NMC management module. -
