  • Page 13 Warning: • When it is necessary to open the cabinet, must be the Machine must be turned off after 5 minutes and under the guidance of experts, only allow access to the components inside the electric control cabinet! • When the machine is running, it is forbidden to touch any moving parts or open the control cabinet, otherwise it may cause personal injury or cause the machine to not work! It is forbidden to operate the equipment in a humid, dusty, corrosive gas and flammable and explosive gas environment, otherwise it may cause electric shock or fire disaster!
  • Page 15 After the engraving machine receives the file, one can press the start button to locate the positioning with red light, and then start the processing. (Red light positioning: Open the cabinet before processing, and then press the start button At this time, if the laser tube does not emit laser, you can observe whether the processing position is accurate, to avoid waste due to inaccurate positioning.
  • Page 16 Read the instructions carefully before operating: 1.) One needs to operate the Water Pump to fill the laser pipe with water before operating the fiber laser machine. One needs to check the recycle/running water system during working time of the machine to prohibit any blockages of the cooling system within the water pipe.
  • Page 17 7.) One should not unpack the machine by oneself and another unprofessional person who does not have experience with fiber and high voltage devices. 8.) Please cut off or disconnect the electric source immediately, when the machine is disabled or on fire. 9.) The operator should check on any irregular conditions during the machine’s performance (such as abnormal sounds, spike in temperature when water is cycling, etc.).
  • Page 18 13.) Please pay more attention on the speed and intensity during machines performance when you are processing combustible goods, such as paper, wood etc. If the intensity is very high and the speed is slow, it will be easier to damage the lens by flame that produced by cutting process. 14.) For the initial users of irregular work piece processing, we must first read light positioning to determine whether the processing location is accurate, otherwise it is easy to produce waste products.
  • Page 19 18.) How to save time: In the mass production of small size products of the same specification (such as 75X25mm badge), the maximum width of X direction should be less than 300mm, which can make the backward laser head faster, thus improving the speed. The resolution can be reduced to speed up the bitmap carving.

  • Page 21 The Light Path Adjustment: Focal Lens Adjustments- To make cuts and engravings on different materials, the operator will need to adjust the focal length according to the material’s properties. This is either done using the lift bed and the focal length sensor, or by adjusting manually.
  • Page 23 The laser will enter the head assembly and concentrate via the focal lens. Making sure that the laser has a correct (F) Focal Spacing, is extremely important to the quality of the process. This is done automatically via the Automatic Focusing Focus Focal Sensor. The pre-installed lens is 20 mm in diameter, made of ZnSe through the particle vaper deposition process (PVD), and has a focal length of 63.5 mm (2.5 Inches).
  • Page 28 Focal Lens Adjustments- M1 up and down, M2 around, M3 Angle, three screws, through the three screws to determine the Angle of the mirror. When adjusting the optical path, the laser reflection Angle can be changed by adjusting the three screws to realize the purpose of optical path adjustment.
  • Page 29 Dimming Considerations: 1.) Be careful to prevent laser burns when adjusting the light path. Especially when there is no experience or large-scale adjustment, there may be interference deviation due to the optical path to avoid personal injury. When adjusting the light path according to the TEST of the panel, please stand on the rear side of the reflective lens, that is, the opposite direction of the light path transmission.
  • Page 30 cooling water in cold areas must not be frozen, especially after the laser is stopped, the cooling water must not be stored in the laser tube, to prevent the cooling water from freezing and causing bursting (special attention: users using AC Tubes, the cooling water tank must be grounded). 2.) If a water pump is used for cooling, it is required to ensure that the flow rate of cooling water is 2L- 4L/min or .53-1.06 gal/min., if the cooling effect is not good, it will cause film jumping and lead to power reduction.
  • Page 31 6.) Please Note: The thin metal wire on the electrode cannot be removed. This metal wire is used to ensure that the electrode and the inner surface of the output window have the same potential, to prevent the inner surface of the output window from being burned, and to extend the service life of the laser.
