3. Safety Instructions
The operator is responsible for proper installation, operation, and maintenance.
If visible damage is present, the product must be taken out of service immediately to avoid hazards.
4. Proper Use and Installation
Warning: Operation is only permitted in conjunction with a LiON charging station from ONgineer GmbH. Only connect one battery
per LiON Splitter! The LiON Splitter provides three different charging plugs for 36V battery systems. When used with the ONgineer
charging station, a correctly connected battery is automatically detected and the charging process begins independently. Compa-
tibility may vary depending on the model.
The splitter should be protected from direct precipitation and prolonged sunlight exposure.
The LiON Splitter should not be used in the following conditions:
• In permanently wet environments
• Near easily flammable materials
• In explosive hazard areas
Preferably operate the LiON Splitter in a protected outdoor area!
The LiON Splitter's function and lifespan can be adversely affected by improper operating conditions.
5. Connecting and Disconnecting the Splitter
To connect the LiON Splitter, insert the splitter into the appropriate socket of the ONgineer charging station. When inserting, ensu-
re that the black locking pin engages in the designated notch of the socket. A clearly audible „click" confirms the correct locking of
the plug. The LiON Splitter is now secured against unauthorized removal and is ready for operation.
Removal is not possible without tools.
You will need a release tool, such as a screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver into the side ope-
ning of the plug. While applying gentle pull on the plug housing, press with the screwdriver
to release it. After correctly removing the plug, the black locking pin remains in the socket
housing of the ONgineer charging station, ensuring re-locking when the plug is reinserted.
If another plug with a locking pin is to be inserted, the existing pin must first be removed
using a screwdriver.

Ensure the operating instructions are passed on to the next
