Page 2 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The electrical fly killer (FK) uses insect attracting wavelengths of UV light from UV or “blacklight“ tubes to attract flies that fly through the bars of an electrically charged grid as they approach the light source. As the insect passes between the bars the electricity arcs and kills the insect.

It should be borne in mind that the brighter the surrounding (competitive) light, the greater the number of units which may be required for a given area.
Page 4 The FK should be cleaned as often as required. After disconnecting from the main, use a cloth dampened with water and detergent or a proprietary cleaner. Never use scouring pads or abrasives. Use a plastic brush to clean electric net if necessary. Empty the catch tray at regular intervals.
