KROKS SIM Injector
Manual. Product passport.
1. Purpose
1.1. The SIM injector is a device for remotely connecting SIM cards to a router in an external antenna via a UTP twisted pair cable at a
distance of up to 50 meters.
The SIM injector is placed indoors near the user's PC for remote installation and replacement of SIM cards without dismantling the ex-
ternal antenna. Support for two SIM-cards allows you to use the services of several operators and create a backup communication chan-
nel.
The device only works with KROKS routers that support SIM injector.
1.2. The front panel of the SIM-injector displays an indication of the signal level and the operating mode of the router. Signal level in-
dicators help to assess the quality of the received signal, and point the antenna at the base station.
A power supply unit is included to power the SIM injector and the router. Data transmission and power supply of the router is carried
out via UTP 4 CAT5E 24 twisted pair cable. The use of passive PoE 24 V technology ensures a stable power supply voltage of the router at a
distance of up to 50 meters.
To supply PoE power to the SIM injector through the LAN port, purchase a PoE power injector.
1.3. When purchasing the device, check its completeness. Attention! After purchasing the router, claims for incompleteness are not
accepted!
