QUICK TIPS
1. Close and lock all doors and windows before driving away.
2. Check the wheel nuts before each trip, after excessive breaking and following winter.
3. Make a habit of walking around and checking your ROAM trailer before you set out, when filling
up at a service station and when hitching up at the camp-ground. Preventative maintenance is
always the best.
4. Before opening the rear door. Always lower the stabiliser legs.
5. If you are driving down a dirt road please go slow, be careful. If you're worried, get out and look.

    1 - HITCHING YOUR ROAM Important Note: be sure to raise all ROAM trailer stabiliser legs and close the trailer fully before driving off after hitching. Hitching up your trailer will get easier with practice. The hitching steps described below are typical.

    NOTE - In adverse weather such as persistent rain/ snow - do not keep side door open permanently. It can be used as an entry point to your ROAM but water will find its way through the door window if left open in heavy rain/snow.

  • Page 7 (windows, vents, wall studs, etc.). Try to avoid drastic, quick temperature reductions, which can increase moisture condensation inside. Your ROAM Explore is insulated with 25mm PIR Rigid insulation in walls, ceilings, floor and 20mm in the doors. This is industry leading insulation.

    5 - FOUR SEASON CAMPING & EXTREME WEATHER Your ROAM trailer was NOT designed for use in extreme climates or weather situations. Some conditions require special consideration or preparations. If conditions are extreme due to weather or other natural or unnatural causes BE SAFE! Get yourselves to safety.
  • Page 9 If you are NOT plugged into 240v power, then you must be aware of the usage on the battery. EXAMPLE- You are wild camping with friends, you have a 12v cooler box plugged into the ROAM to keep your food items cold for the weekend. This cooler box will use power from the 12v battery and must be disconnected at intervals to ensure the battery has enough power to last the duration of your trip.

    7 - KITCHEN SLIDE-OUT The ROAM kitchen provides you with storage space for cooking utensils, crockery etc., a location for your cooker stove, a sink for cleaning/washing and ample prep space to cook up a feast in the outdoors.
