Thank you for purchasing the CapreraLT Cockpit Flood Light. This light utilizes Lumitec's
proprietary DeckSweep technology to cast a broad, even light over a wide area in a color
optimized for easy viewing and reduced eye fatigue.
Installation Instructions:
1. Select mounting location. At a mounting height of 8 feet, a primary illumination area approximately
12 feet in diameter will be brightly lit. A secondary illumination area considerably larger than this will
also be lit, albeit to a lesser degree. Illumination areas will change based on the mounting height and
light angle. Select a mounting height and location best suited to your particular needs.
2. Securely mount and position the light using the mounting hardware provided.
3. Establish the electrical connections per ABYC guidelines. Device is polarity sensitive. Light draws
approximately 1A at 12VDC, .5A at 24VDC. Ensure that gauge of the power wires and the fuse
con guration are appropriate for the speci c installation. For optimal performance and reliability,
Lumitec recommends a completely sealed wire to wire connection, such as an adhesive-lined butt
connector.
Note: Your Lumitec Cockpit Flood Light may become warm or hot to the touch during normal
operation. This is not damaging to the light or to normal mounting surfaces but care should be taken
to avoid injury. The Cockpit Flood Light should not be installed in enclosed or con ned spaces which
restrict air ow to the light's cooling ns. Overheating may cause the light to shut down partially or
completely. If this occurs the light should be turned o and allowed to cool fully. Ensure that the light
has ample air circulation before turning the light back on.

Limited Warranty
The product is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of three
years from the date of original purchase. Lumitec is not responsible for product failure caused by
abuse, neglect, improper installation, or failure in applications other than those for which it was
designed, intended, and marketed. Should your Lumitec product prove defective during the warranty
period, promptly notify Lumitec and return product with freight prepaid. Lumitec will, at its option,
repair or replace the product or defective portion without charge for parts or labor, or, at Lumitec's
option, refund purchase price. Products repaired or replaced under this warranty shall be warranted
for the unexpired portion of the warranty applying to the original product(s). No warranty or
affirmation of fact, express or implied, other than as set forth in the limited warranty statement above
is made or authorized by Lumitec, Inc. Any liability for consequential and incidental damages is
expressly disclaimed. Lumitec liability in all events is limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase
price paid.
