CABLING Between WTI-POE-I-ALT Power Injector and Powered Device 4 PAIR CONNECTIONS The WTI-POE-I-ALT power injector supplies power on all four pairs of the 8 Pin DATA + POWER OUTPUT connector. 56VDC RETURN is applied to pins 1, 2, 4 and 5 -56VDC POWER is applied to pins 3, 6, 7 and 8 100 Mbps Ethernet data transfer uses 2 pairs, normally on pins 1, 2, 3, and 6.
This is the most difficult condition to troubleshoot, as it involves all parts of the system working correctly.
