Users should have a detailed understanding of GDS-75N operating and maintenance instructions. Use the GDS-75N only as specified in this manual or detection of gases and the resulting protection provided may be impaired. Read the following WARNINGS prior to use.
The GDS-75N can be programmed to monitor one of 52 unique networks on 900 MHz radios or one of 76 unique networks on 2.4 GHz radios. Each network supports up to 255 separate gas monitor addresses (channels).
MOUNTING THE ENCLOSURE It is recommended to mount the GDS-75N to a solid structure (such as a concrete wall, steel column, or angle iron) where a minimum of vibration will be transmitted to the unit.

For gas detectors, this means applying test gas to the sensor and verifying that the proper alarm signal is transmitted. For the GDS-75N alarm station, GDS Corp recommends running the Alarm / Relay test at least every 30 days or before the system is used to warn for hazardous conditions.
