Overview Navien Smart Plus uses 2-way communication on an 868 MHz radio frequency (RF) band to control the heating system. The wireless communication module (BCM-41RW or BCM-45RW) operates as the control centre of the system, and the Navien boilers (LCB Range (Oil) or NCB Range (Gas)) support 2-wire communication (KIW) technology. It is possible to control it using a 2-wire connection from the BCM-41RW or BCM-45RW terminals.
