Determine Configuration
Determine if you need a left or right hand configuration. For instructional purposes this manual will show the
right hand configuration installation.
Installing Latch Assembly
Step 1: Close the gate and align latch (A) with the latch receiver (B). The latch (A) should be on the gate side
and the latch receiver (B) on the post side. Ensure the entire assembly is level and aligned properly.
Mark the 4 holes on the latch (A) and the 3 holes on the latch receiver (B).
Step 2: Drill 7 pilot holes using a power drill and a 1/8" (3mm) drill bit.
NOTICE Do not drill all the way through the gate or post.
Step 3: Tighten the 7 screws "clockwise" using a phillips head screwdriver.
