Opening PD Monitor or Sensors will void warranty and will damage its rated sealing. Always seek servicing from an authorized Rugged Monitoring service depot.

    ARRANTY OTICE HPM601™, Hsens-H™ and Hsens-T™ are guaranteed (Parts and Workmanship) for one full year from the date of purchase (different warranty conditions may have been negotiated for specific customers; for those cases, these conditions would supersede this standard text). Upon written notification of any defect, Rugged Monitoring will either repair or replace any faulty product or components thereof.

    IP65 rating ensures that PD monitoring can be perform in wet weather without needing to worry about keeping Monitor dry. Hsens-H and Hsens-T are equipped with transient over voltage protection. Sensors are also IP65 rated, meaning these can be used indoor as well as outdoor.

    There are also Power Supply and Synchronization connectors on front wall. Ethernet connector for communication and nameplate data are located on right wall of enclosure.     5.1.3 Step 3: Connect Sensors Now connect sensor cables to Input Channels of PD Monitor. Make sure to connect sensors to PD Monitor first before positioning them on their respective locations. Document no. MAN0017-R01-EN Copyright Rugged Monitoring Inc.
  • Page 17 5.1.3.1 Position Sensors Hsens-H: Hsens-H (HFCT) Sensors can be clamped around cable earth or metallic sheath. Hsens-T: In case of medium voltage air insulated metal clad switchgear, place Hsens-T (TEV) sensor on the inside (if possible) or outside wall near vents or opening of metal clad switchgear.

    In case User wants to use his/her own laptop, Rugged Enterprise Software needs to be installed. In this case, software installer is provided on USB Flash Disk along with PD Monitor or latest version of software can be downloaded from Rugged Monitoring website: www.ruggedmonitoring.com/downloads After executing installer file, please follow step by step and use default settings.

    Under General Settings, User can change Software Language, Default data storage path or measurement units. By default, data storage path is selected as below. C:\Program Data\Rugged Monitoring\Rugged Enterprise\ User can however change this default path to another location, i.e., External SSD drive.
