The status LED will start blinking until any door is opened and then will go off. If the alarm was triggered during the driver’s absence, the VSS signalizes it with three siren chirps. IMPORTANT! When entering valet mode, the VSS has to be disarmed and the ANTI-HIJACK and IMMOBILISER functions have to be authorized. Entering valet mode Turn the ignition on. General notes • Tytan DS410/DS424 CAN Vehicle Security System (VSS) is intended to use in all combustion engine cars, with 12V or 24V supply system and negative ground. Tytan DS410/DS424 CAN security system must be installed according to manufacturer’s requirements and documentation. -

2.2.6 OEM alarm detection If car is equipped with the OEM security system, start of OEM alarm cycle can trigger alarming in Tytan DS410/DS424 VSS. That feature allows DS410/DS424 to protect car using OEM motion detector and OEM towing detector. -

The app has a TytanBT master switch. It disables the BT operation of TytanBT app, without necessity to switch the phone BT off. Disabling the BT operation of TytanBT app: saves phone battery (disables BT advertising of TytanBT application) prevents the authorisation token function from unintended authorisation of immobiliser/antihijack function Digital Systems DS410.IU.ALL.2522.001... - Page 21 The principle of operation is that when the car and the phone are in proximity and the BT connection is established, the app does not authorise the immobiliser/antihijack function.
