MOUNTING ACCESSORIES ON THE MANUAL TORCH During the installation of inserts, felts and brushes, the device must be switched off: • Turn the main switch to position "O". • Disconnect the device from the mains. For its normal operation, the appliance requires the use of particular acid solutions that can be dangerous (read chapter 1 carefully).

For some types of inserts, the felt is fixed using a PTFE ring. In these cases, the felt insertion tool built into the manual torch support base is used for installation.

Sparks and foam may form at the contact point between the felt/brush and the weld during processing. This is perfectly normal.
