    9. Fire Extinguisher Location & Function As the manufacturer of the vessel Century Boats is not required to provide an extinguisher, but we provide a location for the extinguisher to be placed. The fire extinguisher box is in the starboard wall behind the rod box.

You and your passengers should wear a PFD whenever boating. It is especially important that children or non-swimmers wear a PFD at all times. Make certain you know how to use PFDs.

    Stainless steel will darken with time losing its original luster. The effects of salt water accelerate the breakdown of passivation. Century uses high-quality stainless steel parts. It is very important that as part of the overall maintenance of your boat that attention be given to the stainless steel. Harsh detergents such as bleach and solvents can cause permanent damage. Some popular fish scents that are spayed on lures contain chemicals that may cause deterioration of the carpet and upholstery.
