  • Page 4 Reference Streamer/Music rendering engine If you choose this option, you can then start the Roon app on your preferred device, enter your Roon credentials, and use the Absolute Stream as both a Roon core and streamer. Ideon Audio’s Music Playing Application Additionally, with the Absolute Stream, we provide a fully functional music player application.
  • Page 5 Setting up your Absolute Stream Setting up your Absolute Stream is very simple, nevertheless don’t forget that to set up and use, you need to effectively connect it to your network.     Make sure that all of the above connections have been made with the right cables, in order to connect your Absolute Stream to your network. Press the power button on the front plate (off center left) to power on the Absolute Stream to operating mode.
  • Page 7 Open your favorite browser on a desktop or laptop and type this IP address. This launches the Ideon Player. The first screen you will see after this action is the Playback screen, which shows what track is being played. Initially, this screen will display “Not playing” since no track is being played at this moment.

  • Page 11 If you select any view apart from Albums, such as Album Artist, Artist, or Genre, the contents of your music library will be presented on this screen accordingly (see photo). In this section, you have two options for more information. By clicking on the note icon, you will see all the songs under this category, while clicking on the circle icon will display the corresponding albums.

The Search option allows you to search the Qobuz database, and the Logout option lets you exit Qobuz services (see photos).   • Page 21 Adding playlists or tracks to Queue You can play, add to queue, or select any playlist or track as a favorite by following these steps: On the right side of the screen, when viewing your playlists or tracks, you will find three icons that provide these options. By clicking on the three lines icon, you will see additional options for what to do with a playlist or a specific track, such as appending to queue or appending and playing, etc.

We suggest that after becoming familiar with the application’s functionality, you experiment with these settings to customize the application to your own preferences.

  • Page 25 File Names and Thumbnail names: the names of photos that the system can read as your artwork cover photos so to show the photo of the album if it exists – you can add your own Thumbnails size: define in pixels the size of the album artwork thumbnails, in Browse/Library screens. Default is 175. Statistics: (enabled/disabled): if enabled it keeps statistics for your library and music playback.
