The USB connectors support plug-and-play and hot-swapping functionality for external devices. Additionally, this can be enabled / disabled in the BIOS menu.
MCX-CM220 Embedded System 2.2.8 COM Connector MCX-CM220 has 4 x COM RS232/422/485 ports of terminal block type. They offer transmission speeds of 50 ~115.2 kbps. The default mode for both COM ports (COM1&COM2) is RS-232 Mode. Settings can be adjusted via an on-board switch (SW1).

MCX-CM220 Embedded System 2.3.1 M.2 Connector There is one M.2 B-Key connector for M.2 cards, labeled “CN14” on the board. This M.2 interface is an SATA signal co-lay with a USB signal. It will automatically detect which device you installed and determine the appropriate SATA or USB signal to use.

MCX-CM220 Embedded System 3.3.2 Installing M.2 3042 Module 1. Loosen the provided screws on the board. (No need to remove the screws.) 2. Use the 3042 bracket from the accessory bag and insert it in the gap underneath where the screw was loosened in Step1.

System will perform a short reboot every time (Power LED will turn orange for a short while) with the default TDP setting due to a CPU feature.

MCX-CM220 Embedded System 4.15 Dynamic Range Temperatures Statement Thermal Management of the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor External Design Specification: DTR is the range of temperature starting from boot (TBOOT) and transitioning to Cold-to-Hot (TBOOT + DTR) and/or Hot-to-Cold (TBOOT - DTR). A temperature outside the DTR range requires a reboot but is not enforced by the hardware.
