    NHR 9400 Series NHR 9400 Calibration Procedure Launch “NHR 9400 Calibration” which is installed as part of the NHR 9400 Software Package. The shortcut is found at: Start Menu / All Apps / NH Research / NHR 9400 Calibration. The software is a series of pages which guide you through the calibration 1.
  • Page 16 3. Configure Equipment page: a. Select the calibration equipment i. Fully hands-off calibration can only be completed if using the NHR CAL300 or the NHR 9400 Calibrator. ii. Manual calibration is possible by choosing “User Fixturing”. However, this is a very time consuming and tedious method.

    Diagnostics Overview The NHR 9400 Diagnostics tool is a simple tool to allow users to quickly identify potential problem areas within the system. The software will run through a series of tests and return feedback based on the results. The feedback will recommend cables, wiring, and fuses to check and inform the user of possible bad circuit boards.
  • Page 26 IMPORTANT: The 9400 MUST be powered up to run the diagnostic tool. i. Start with the unit off. ii. Refer to the “Turn On Checklist” in the 9400 series user’s manual. iii. Disconnect output connections from all channels. iv. Change OPTION switch 2 of 9400 to ON.
  • Page 27 If the values are incorrect, enter the correct values in the following window. For the Current Feedback test, a load is necessary. You will need to the CAL300 Load and NHR 9400 Test Fixture. Click “OK” if you would like to proceed. If not, click “No” to skip.
